Ischia Film Festival in Italy to host Iran’s ‘Burial’

‘Burial’, a feature film by Mohammad Tanabandeh, is set to appear at the 20th edition of the annual Ischia Film Festival (IFF) in Italy.

‘Burial’ will make its debut screening at the 2022 Ischia festival.

Tanabandeh's first feature film as a director deals with a human and social issue from a different perspective. The flick is considered an anti-war film production.

Tehran-based Raw Company has served as the international distributor of the movie.

Among the new names in the cast list are Hossein Mehri, Toumaj Danesh Behzadi, Majid Saeedi and Ayoub Daman.

The Ischia Film Festival is an open competition for films and documentaries regardless of language: fiction, documentary, animation.

The 20th edition will start on Saturday, June 25 and end on July 2, 2022 under the artistic direction of the founder Michelangelo Messina.
